By engaging Ernies Discount Rooter Service for septic tank pumping, drain cleaning, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Areas
We primarily serve the Pomona Valley area including Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Montclair, Chino, Claremont, Chino Hills, Pomona, and surrounding communities. Additional areas may be serviced with advance notice and travel time consideration.
Service Agreements and Scheduling
Appointment Scheduling
Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred time slots, but cannot guarantee specific appointment times due to the nature of emergency service calls.
Service Confirmation
All service appointments require confirmation. We will contact you prior to arrival to confirm the appointment and provide an estimated arrival time. Services may be rescheduled due to emergency calls or equipment issues.
Property Access
You are responsible for ensuring clear access to septic systems and drain lines. This includes removing vehicles, debris, and other obstacles. We reserve the right to reschedule service if adequate access cannot be achieved.
Pricing and Payment
Service Pricing
Our pricing is based on:
- Type of service required
- Size and condition of septic system
- Complexity of the job
- Travel distance and time
- Equipment and labor requirements
Written Estimates
We provide written estimates for most services. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during service. We will always discuss any price changes with you before proceeding with additional work.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For commercial accounts, payment terms may be negotiated separately.
Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Services performed outside normal business hours
- Emergency service calls
- Overtime labor charges

- Site preparation or cleanup beyond normal scope
Customer Responsibilities
Property Preparation
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate property information
- Ensuring clear access to service areas
- Locating septic tank lids and access points
- Notifying us of any underground utilities or obstacles
- Protecting sensitive landscaping during service
System Information
Please provide accurate information about your septic system including tank size, age, pumping history, and any known issues. This information helps us provide better service and avoid complications.
Warranty and Liability
Service Warranty
We stand behind our work with a 30-day warranty on materials and labor for routine service work. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials, but does not cover damage caused by external factors, normal wear, or misuse.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing conditions or hidden defects
- Damage from frozen pipes or extreme weather
- Root invasion or other external causes
- System failures due to age or neglect
- Incidental or consequential damages
Insurance
We carry liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Please inform us immediately of any damage or concerns during service so we can address them promptly.
Emergency Services
Emergency Response
We offer 24/7 emergency septic services for urgent situations such as system backups, overflow conditions, or other health and safety hazards. Emergency services are subject to higher rates and availability may be limited during peak demand periods.

Emergency situations include:
- Sewage backup into living areas
- Complete system failure
- Odor problems affecting health or safety
- Visible sewage overflow
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Customer Cancellations
Please notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a service call fee.
Our Cancellations
We may need to reschedule appointments due to equipment breakdowns, severe weather, or emergency service calls. We will notify you as early as possible and work to reschedule at your convenience.
Safety and Environmental Compliance

We follow all applicable safety regulations and industry best practices. Our technicians are trained in proper safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Environmental Protection
We dispose of all waste materials in accordance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. We maintain proper permits and documentation for waste transportation and disposal.
